ClubHouse Guidelines

These clubhouse guidelines govern all persons on the property of the Kalama Community Trust dba Kalama Beach Club property!

1. Kalama Beach Club (KBC) hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
2. KBC will not be responsible for the safety of persons using the premises or the adjoining Kailua Beach (which is public). All persons are cautioned that there is no lifeguard on duty at the public beach adjoining the KBC.
3. Adults with minor children on the KBC premises will supervise and be responsible for their safety and conduct. The Renter of KBC agrees to be responsible for the conduct of all persons on the premises under their auspices.
4. KBC is not responsible for any loss of property due to fire, theft, disappearance, water damage, or any other cause.
5. Gambling and possession or use of illegal drugs and/or contraband articles is strictly prohibited.
6. Pets are prohibited except trained service animals.
7. Decorating is permitted, provided no tacks, nails or stables are used. Tape and string may be used, but must be removed prior to departure.
8. In respect for our neighbors no amplified sound is permitted at KBC. This includes, but is not limited to, amplified bands, Karaoke, bullhorns, automobile stereos and public address systems before, during or after a function. Bathers must rinse off sand at the outside shower before entering the Clubhouse.
9. All recreational equipment must be accounted for and returned to KBC prior to departure. All damages must be reported to the KBC contact person on the premises, and any repairs thereof are the responsibility of the renter of KBC.
10. Advance permission and payment of special fees are required for imus. Fires are limited to the barbecue area.
11. If the kitchen is used for any reason, the renter must leave the kitchen clean and all utensils must be put away. Parking is not permitted beyond the volleyball area except for party set-up.
12. A club representative will be on the premises for set-up, during, and for the clean up of all functions.
13. All vehicles must proceed with caution (5 MPH) and STOP at the exit on North Kalaheo Avenue when leaving KBC.
14. All clean up must be completed and all those using KBC must be off the premises by no later than 9:00 p.m. Functions must adhere to hours reserved.
